About
My name is Timo Nikisch. Originally, I studied Architecture, but my focus has since shifted towards computational design, artificial intelligence, and digital workflows. Alongside my studies in Design & Computation at UdK and TU Berlin, I work at Syte, an AI startup from Münster specializing in bringing AI to real estate & architecture. There, I operate at the intersection of AI, architecture, and data-driven analysis, redefining expert workflows through intelligent automation and innovative tools.
I’m deeply committed to my projects and constantly driven by curiosity. Beyond academics and work, I pursue diverse interests—from crafting 3D-printed furniture and learning new programming languages to developing app, software & working on complex AI systems and models. My passion for learning, creating, and exploring continuously pushes me forward.
Designer

Originally, I studied Architecture at the Hochschule Bochum. While my academic design journey started with buildings, I have been deeply invested and obsessed with topics like UI/UX, product, and brand design. My approach combines aesthetics with functionality, always aiming to create user-centered solutions that resonate and inspire.

Researcher

Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in the research-based, interdisciplinary program Design & Computation at UdK and TU Berlin. My work focuses on exploring innovative technologies and design concepts, bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application to push the boundaries of design and computation.

Developer

As a developer, I am passionate about building intelligent systems and digital products. From developing my first app to working on complex AI models and data-driven workflows at syte, I thrive at the intersection of design, technology, and automation—turning ideas into scalable, impactful solutions.
